The use of Disturbed made it perfect.

I agree pretty much 100% with you. Visual novels are a medium unto themselves, combining aspects of games, books, and movies, but they aren't any one of those on their own.

I want to grab everyone who thinks that only swords were used in the Edo period and make them read Shogun. Yeah, okay, it's a fiction, but it's insanely well researched historical fiction and depicts the time period of guns becoming commonplace there.

Everything in this comment was great right up until the BS about super hot furnaces and purer irons/steels. The only reason Indian steel was better than steel from Germany was the incredibly rare chemical composition of both the pig iron itself and the wood used to fuel the fires, which created a steel that was just

The other problem with sandstone is how weak it is. If you plan on actually playing with the miniature, you will probably break it if it's made of sandstone.

They're hoping to add that either later or as stretch goals.

The real problem I have with the films is the way he re-edited them, tossing in a dumb romantic subplot that helps neither the story nor Evangeline Lilly's career (it was also against her contract) and editing out the gorgeous orc makeups and Smaug's front legs. There were some very bad post production decisions made

This may actually come from Peter Jackson himself, because he definitely knows that there's a market for an abridged version that sticks to the actual novel, even if it's only because noted Tolkien fan Christopher Lee told him (I'd like to think that upon hearing Jackson was extendingThe Hobbit to three movies, Lee

Fringe is definitely an homage to the zany, drug-induced "science" of the 60s and 70s, which is basically spelled out in bold Comic Sans with Walter. Which was an excellent story choice.

And that's a problem why? Maybe I'm an idiot or have "internalized misogyny" or some other bullshit like that, but the show doesn't seem sexist to me and it's a lot of silly fun that pokes holes in the police state this country is heading towards.

For once I actually read the comment of the day before it was selected! Totally agree with both your choice and Briar's idea about the setting.

It'd be nice if this service offered a version where you pay less and just get the CAD file so you can print it yourself.

Because there was no way it would live up to the expectations of those who loved it, and those who only liked it were too freaked by Card's politics.

Especially in colleges. I know several groups who do it at UH and my best friend is a part of one of two groups at Kettering who do it.

That's what gaming laptops are for. Laptop, fan, powercord, done.

It's cheaper on the Humble store, I think.

I think you're ignoring the part where the game was just plain fun to play, and actually did have a pretty good story because tropes aren't bad.

Yeah, starting to say, it looks like playing it on my laptop on lowest settings, not the PS3. Bad reporting is bad.

I think her face looked better in-game compared to the cutscene.
