But am I? It's a sword. A tool of destruction. That's like buying a gun to look at it. Go out and use the damn thing. Even if it's just watermelons or paper targets.

Well, okay, I'll give you that, but TP/SS/Link Between Worlds have it as purple and SS actually retcons OoT's (and the Ocarina of Time itself) to the same purple color. Just fyi.
Well then you're not the person who should own this sword. It may be pretty, but it's supposed to be used.
Like I said to Shardik, it's a complete reinterpretation, so I forgive the inaccuracies. It's not supposed to be from the games and it's better for it.
It's actually purpl.e
That tends to happen with a lot of old school craftsmen. Leather tanners, blacksmiths, gunsmiths and swordsmiths all tend to have ridiculously shitty websites.
It's a reinterpretation, so I'll forgive the 300 inaccuracies it has.
Accurate? Fuck no. That thing is about as far off model as the functional version above.
Yeah, I've already seen several broken versions of that. The pommel's glued on. Nice try, but no dice.
I was wondering what your ancestry was.
No, they aren't.
The books aren't considered canon.
Is there a ring in the game attached to a rope? No, there isn't. The only ring mentioned is in ACII and Brotherhood, and its only purpose is to hide the assassin sigil on their fingers. It was not used.
Yes, and that's the concept art that didn't get used for the game. And the reason they're moving their hands is to get it out of the way of the really sharp object flying out of their wrists.
I was going to attempt to find sources but I'm feeling extremely lazy right now so I'll just explain my thought processes in bullet points:
The masses? Really? Please, go take one of those shitty swords and shove it as far up your asshole as you can manage. As an engineer and a future HMB participant, it's my job to understand how things work, and a combat-ready sword, even a stage combat one, needs to have a full forged tang at the least to last for more…
None. But I do HMB and I'd like a sword that can take out back and cut up simulaids without worrying if it will fall apart after a year of recreational use the way most of this guy's wallhangers do.
Really? A lot of people who hated Obama were going to vote for Herman Cain in the primaries, who is, by the way, blacker than Obama. I don't think skin tone has anything to do with this, and I suggest you leave it out of this discussion.
Relying on only a lock, with no spring behind it, is a really flimsy design choice. Hit bone or armor and that lock would snap, causing the blade to be totally useless.
