I can totally understand that. Having little people makes it tough to think of anything the same way. I don't even have kids, but now that I am working with them again (having people to take care of for hours and hours that constantly need your help and support is tough, being a parent must be even more so). So I just

Ah, puppies. They make the world better with their optimism, happiness, and funny ears and tails.

Oh Lord. That comment. I seriously had to hold back from vomiting everywhere. I think I need to go look at some puppies.

Yay! Another person for the Mad Squad! Ankles, faces and groins are all covered. I think this may be a solid team.

Well, maybe, as long as I get to kick some groins, I'll be happy. 'Cause seriously this has got to end, and so I shall be known henceforth as Groin Kicker. I like it. It works for both genders and can be fantastic fun for me.

Aww, I wanted to be groin kicker. You beat me to it. Hey, if I kick and you punch, it is different, right?

I feel like this gif also helps with this conversation:

Oh My Gosh! H.R. Pufnstuf! I loved that show when I was a kid. What great memories. It was an old show my mom said that she had watched, and had VHS sets for me to watch the series. I think I have seen every one of the episodes, and maybe the movie too.

Generally, I try not to watch this show, and only get snippets from Jezebel at this point, especially because I can't watch this show just because it would reinforce that this behavior is something that we as a society want to see.

It was pretty solid, and you can find the episodes online at watchcartoonsonline.com (I believe that is the right site). I was bummed n how they ended the show, because I wanted to see the aftermath. There were real deaths, real losses and real stakes. I like that, and just wanted one more episode to see how they

It is good to know other people were hoping for the best GL. He is my favorite and so underutilized.

Yeah, he was one of my favorites, and Hawk Girl too. Both she and WW did not take any nonsense. Actually, when the GL movie came out, I was all like, "what about John, isn't he Green Lantern," then I had to go and look to realize that he just wasn't the first one and that they had just changed him to be black (which

I grew up with John Stewart, so I find him the best (Watching Justice League and Justice League Unlimited, I didn't have much access to comics, so cartoons were my comic books—X-Men, JL, JLU, TMNT, Static Shock, etc.).

I get a mix of this all the time! I'm generally multiracial (Nigerian and French-with other stuff), and I am not as dark as my dad, but definitely not white. I will hear terrible race jokes and how people really feel about black people, and then I have this look of confusion and disgust on my face. Everyone will look

Yikes. That seems frustrating. I guess, in order to try and keep a cordial relationship, it would be best to pull her aside, and and explain to her how offensive and uncomfortable it makes you feel.

Well, I get why that is being said, but there are lots of talented POC actresses out there, however they are not given chances and ignored because of their race.

Katniss is described as being olive skinned, which in this case is not white, nor black, but a person of color regardless. Maybe Greek if we wanted to stretch but maybe a person if Native American heritage or even multiracial. That and many of the other characters are described as more diverse, so I was picturing them

You picture her as black, because she is described in that way, as is Beetee. He is being played by and African American, but they whitewashed him.

Dang, you are on fire.

Ha! How creative.
