I agree with your last sentence, that they need not have shot the person at all. But the rest of what you’re saying is irrelevant, because if you could ask the innocent man (who is now dead, so you can’t) what he would have preferred, I think he would have taken his chances with the shot to the lower abdomen or back.

For your first two paragraphs: You say he was no threat in “hindsight”, like the lack of the benefit of hindsight excuses this. It doesn’t. The police officer did not have enough information to justify the action that they took. That is on them.

“If you think it is so easy, why don’t you join the police force and show them how it’s done? It’s easy to judge others when you aren’t the one putting their life on the line to serve the public.”

“almost no police are willing to give a chance for someone to put them in the dirt even if it means more lives would be saved.”

“Your recommendations are all counter to each other”

Exactly, the fuss over this is almost nonsensical. Sure, they shouldn’t be releasing debug code, and it’s worse that it’s for something as low-level as a driver, but it’s almost like freaking out about any other debugging/troubleshooting feature that’s intentionally present (e.g request logging on a web server).

No, it’s not even useful for Xbox. I am in the UK but my Xbox store is still the New Zealand one. I can change it, but I didn’t because it warned me I could lose access to some of the things I’d already bought.

Or instead of just not having coffee for a few days if you’re not in a city. If you really believe you need coffee this badly then insufferable is the word I’d use too.

I was not around to see that overtake, but I did thoroughly enjoy Mansell butchering the corner name in an interview with Lewis Hamilton a couple of years ago:

“But how they feel is their business”

This is the comment I was looking for.

“This video contains content from Channel 4, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds”

Cool, Renault Twizy.

“For a cloud-based system the XBO needs to leverage more of the cloud to make the XBO menus more responsive.”

You’re an idiot. Even if they were using 100% fossil fuels, which as dozens of people have pointed out is nothing like the reality, it would still be more efficient to move to electric vehicles. But please, keep proudly and smugly shitting out your worthless opinion. I’m sure that you’re right, that human

I dunno, if this “car for ladies” had a place to put your purse it seems like the kind of thing that would have got slammed in this post too.

The floating blue power-ups that turn you into a vehicle were a fucking abomination. That alone was enough to destroy the game for me, even ignoring its other problems. How you’re expected to feel like you’re in the Star Wars universe when you have such ugly and jarring game mechanics is beyond me.

The window exploding in the side impact is pretty cool.

People complain that F1 sounds like vacuum cleaners, but it’s better than looking like them.

I don’t think anyone doubted his ability, but if they did this just showed once again what an excellent driver he is.
