Yeah, I agree with that.

Just to be clear, I was never doubting the fact that the PS4 has about 50% more GPU hardware. I'm just unconvinced that it's right to refer to any aspect of the hardware as "shaders". The second example you've given does do that, but I'm fairly sure it's a colloquial thing that tech websites are doing which isn't

Thanks, but I'm not sure it clarifies much? He seems to always use cores, processors or compute units to refer to the hardware, and never "shaders". It seems to support my suspicion that it's not right to refer to the hardware units as "shaders", but again it isn't explicitly mentioned as far as I can see.

It's probably because in buggy BF3 you could get killed by trying to jump over trees that had already fallen down and stopped moving.

Judging by your name I'm hoping you're actually a developer with some concrete knowledge.

Its a basic computational processor within the GPU that executes the code that you're referring to. The language is similar, but functionally different items.

How is this possible?

Good luck.

See you then!

I'm going to preface this by saying that I've been able to see, hear, and feel things since I was a small child. It stopped being weird for me years ago, and it's been happening less and less the older I get.

My diagnosis is that you were still drunk and thought it was a bathroom. You went in briefly, sat down after turning on the light, then shat the closet before leaving.

The truck one reminds me of Jeepers Creepers. Minus the retarded spiders or whatever that movie ended up having in it.

How many hours were there between cramming it full of people dressed as zombies and starting the event?

Yeah it's not good, I have read that. Without looking closely I don't think I'll see a difference, but it's disappointing that the Xbox version is significantly inferior when you look at the numbers.

Excellent, I have been waiting for this sort of video.

That being said, I'm interested to see how different developers apply AA with only 32MB ESRAM.

But it's NOT a difference between 720p and 1080p (or 900p or whatever else we get).

I'm not sure we're talking about the same thing, because hit detection doesn't really come into it. The fact is, for whatever reason, most developers don't have the bullets come from the gun and the camera positioned in the character's head. They combine it so that the z-axis of the camera, wherever it ends up being,

The camera is at chest level in singleplayer, in multiplayer it's at head height. I don't know why they chose to do it two ways.
