Yeah, like I said, 2005 was the advent of major free to play games. Advent means ‘arrival’, and Guild Wars opened minds to the possibility of a non-subscription based MMO. Well, besides the hundreds of foreign MMOs doing it.

Okay, it’s a year and a month difference. You realise you replied to three long paragraphs of text with ‘think before you post’? Come off it.

Noice.

THIS

2005 was pretty much around the advent of F2P, it’s pretty much accurate. Hard to believe how long it’s been since WoW launched.

Yeah, the replay is client side, but the game physics are server-client.

Darkages had a pretty complex religious system that people at least pretended to follow and roleplayed seriously. We had morning services and things, and creepily obsessed people.

Meepo is about 12 years old.

What? Meepo? Chen is more of a multitask hero than Meepo. All you do on meepo is cycle his net.

This is actually a minigame for Fallout 4. The app is meant to work in conjunction with the game. So you get a code in the game and use it to unlock the app’s minigame.

Activision published Rome Total War. I forgot they weren’t publishing the series anymore. It’s easier to say the publisher rather than remembering every B-rank developer.

And, yes, their last few titles have been disasters. Think of how much of a disaster the Assassin’s creed games are every time, and that stuff has

Right, except Total War style battles tend to suck ass thanks to Activision being really bad at balance and AI programming.

Adding another layer of gameplay beyond the world borders, political/individual simulator, and tactical battle simulation, would be way too much. The game is slow as fuck already.

Abusing an invincible or nearly invincible door isn’t the same thing as a choke point.

Is this the assassin from FF8? Seems very Disney. No hat or duster?

AWWWWWWW

This door thing is as old as FPS games with doors.

What does the way you treat women have to do with whether or not you’re a musical genius?

An arcade space shooter? Aren’t those all pretty much the same, but in a kind of ‘you have to really be into them to know how they’re different’ way?

Instead of trying to ban VCRs, and stupid crap like that, legislators should go after services like Adblock. There’s no reason why anyone should need to block unintrusive ads. And the only way you’ll find intrusive ads is if you’re frequenting porn or piracy websites, or other shady parts of the internet.

It’s not unreasonable. If you really like the game you pay a fee for a ‘skip button’ on the artist promotion, along with the other benefits it gives.
