That very issue, believe it or not, was my VERY FIRST comic book EVER. Thank you for nostalgia!

One of my all time faves, Wolverine #43, 1991. It had some continuity stuff leading up to issue #50, but Logan needing to take a break and freeing the Central Park Zoo of a torturous madman who has been hurting the animals has always stuck with me. No big super villain showdown, just Logan squaring off against a…
What I've always wanted to see, despite the greatness of at least the first two Christopher Reeve films, is a seemingly unstoppable force, robots, aliens, Lex in a power suit, whatever, something that really needs its ass kicked and Superman being SUPER. Batman is great for a psychological study, Superman needs to be…
I got the same feeling, and considering Snyder's other entries are visually striking, they also come off as vapid and perhaps even soulless. I love 300, but Watchmen, despite looking right, was boring. I don't think this bodes exactly well for Supes.
I think they're optional to the artist, he's had 'em off and on, in varying sizes and designs. The cover of Amazing Spider Man #1 they almost look like bat wings in his armpits.
"...because he'd rather make money than make critically acclaimed award bait."
Thumbs up. As a writer myself, sometimes I want to write stuff to test my reader, sometimes I just want to entertain them. At the same time, sometimes I want to test my ability. Sometimes I just want to have fun.
Yeah, that grabbed my interest, too, but good luck finding it. It looks like it might be out of print with only used copies available on Amazon, newer copies going for like $50. :(
Doesn't work on my work computer, tried it on my iPhone safari browser, awesome. WHEE!!1
Ever since he STARTED acting, I've wanted to see him play the Ocarina of Time version of Ganondorf in a live action LotR style Legend of Zelda movie. I know it would be impossible, but I just think he would be a bad ass Ganon.
Thanks!
I remember seeing this back in grade school, some twenty years ago mind you. I wish they'd do all that fancy Hollywood glorification to space videos on a blu-ray or something.
Like Morbeus and Blade. Vampires are monsters. Zombies with cunning. Any romance should be on the dumb mortal's part trying to bring out the lost humanity, only to suffer as a result, either in death or their own transformation only to realize too late how fucked up their intentions were. Any good vampire, like…
RDR in modern times perhaps? One time criminal starts a family, gets pulled back into the dirty work but wants to be a good guy? I get that's a running theme among a few of the GTA's and obviously RDR, but making a set of characters we can totally identify with makes playing the game and making the tough choices so…
As far as I could tell, he's only available in the challenge maps. It's not like he has his own campaign. I think I'll hold off, if he had his own campaign I'd grab it, but 7 bucks for a new character to just button mash with seems a bit much.
That's always been my take on multiplayer. I loved camradre among friends, not faceless voices slurring insults over a mic. Even playing online with real life FRIENDS does not have quite the same thrill as a few friends, drinks and some snack foods in the same room. Old arcades had you standing shoulder to…
Didn't Silicon Knights do the Legacy of Kain games? Blood Omen and Soul Reaver were freaking rad, I'd love to see those return to their roots.
Sting had a very brief cameo in The Adventures of Baron Munchousen (sp?) as well.
Did the Star Trek (and Catwoman) ones all look like the same pumpkin with a projection on it to anyone else?
