They should just open source all the code so people might try and fix some of the issues and throw in the towel.

Well I would get the Fisker

I don’t think Nissan or Stellantis would need or want Fisker. Nissan already has BEV tech and Stellantis does too (mainly in Europe). And Stellantis is about to come out with a bunch of BEVs with designs that are likely already mostly done.

Mazda comes to mind first for me, but I don’t know if they’ve got the capital to do something like that. But it would fit in well with their new goal to move more upmarket, at least in theory. I think the Ocean is built by Magna Steyr in Austria, so that could make for some logistical or regulatory headaches I’m

Nobody wants you to have a Nissan, not even you, or Nissan.

I think it is the specific character of the bullshit that makes this more than a mole hill. If they had just said “don’t be like all of the people driving refrigerator-shaped Teslas... be a rebel.” That would have been fine. But they went anti-government, anti-environment dog whistle.

It’s the car they* didnt want you** to have.

A few days ago there was a stalled iX in the middle of the road. Did Fisker build that one too?

yes it is.

I generally agree with this, but I think strategic investment in US battery production is a good one. I’d bet it takes 10 years until the industrial base is at scale and is agile enough to rapidly and routinely reconfigure production to make new batteries for different use cases, which is what will eventually be needed

The Common Sceptic calculated that if those people had bought Tesla stock instead of the car, they would have made around 2.3 and 4.something million dollars in the same time, depending on when they sold.

In other words, they’re... unseamly?

Reference to a Rage Against The Machine song about cops.

I respect the RATM lyric reference in the sub-headline.

Sounds like a job for the Lock Picking Lawyer.  ;-)

Is he expecting to be attacked by gangstas from Nottingham Forest or something?
