What gets me isn’t that we’re now 5 years further in the future than the “future” of the movies, it’s that we almost have the same difference between the “past” (1955) and the “old west” (1885), 70 years, as there is between the “past” and now (65 years).

I will not argue that BTTF needs a remake (in part because when I do the math on where 30 years in the past lands Marty if he starts from now.... No. Just no. I can’t be THAT old, so no.) - BUT, BUT! If Hollywood really wanted to do this... I’m sold with this casting.
