As far as Tesla - no company lasts forever, and most don’t last a half century. In the nearer term, though, I think Tesla will start to appear more “normal” over time, except for the direct sales model. Then again, as more new companies embrace that (Rivian, for example), that too might begin to appear normal

Long ago, I thought Ivory Liquid dish-washing detergent (in the curvey white bottle) looked just like cum. I haven’t seen it (the Ivory Liquid) in decades though. Found it:

Wat about a BMW X5? It’s big enough that a (cramped) 3rd row has been an option, it’s taller than a wagon, and fun to drive (for a CUV).

I think it would be nice to have this as a backup option, in case you somehow lock your keys in the car, or misplace them or something. I agree that, for me at least, it's unlikely to be my primary way of getting into my car.

Hmmm... 330 miles is roughly 515 km, could this have been the author forgetting to convert to miles?

Aren’t there some car touch-screen systems that let you use a knob w/button to navigate the menus, but still have a touchscreen for inputting things like addresses, or for if you’re stopped?

The moss green exterior with espresso brown leather interior has me reaching for my wallet :-O

Yes, especially the rear windows. I noticed that too last fall when it debuted at the fashion show.

I sort of agree, although “by Republican standards” is a bit of a moving target (as in, moving down, rapidly). I feel like she’s about on par for Republicans at the moment - terrible.

I ask myself this question’ would Republicans resort to changing long-held and long-respected rules on the appointment and composition of the Supreme Court? And the answer is, “Yes”, and in fact, they already did it twice (as this article points out). Would they be having moral qualms about increasing the number of

Cuff 'em and stuff 'em!!

I have trouble believing anything bigger than a cabbage patch doll could fit in the "optional" third row, given the rear profile of the Y. I'm not sure your redesign is any better looking, but definitely more practical!

I read the reviews, and the T8 is basically not close to worth it - it’s a lot more expensive, has very very short range on all-electric, and it weighs so much more that the gas mileage overall isn’t much better, it’s not much (if at all) faster, and the handling is worse.

I didn’t see the comment where you guessed that, I guess great minds think alike ;-)

I’m somewhat similar - tech-loving guy, I like the Model 3, but with two kids, soon a dog, and visiting in-laws, I want something with a third row. A model X would be cool, but I’m not spending six figures on a car. I really like the Rivian R1S, but it’s two years from volume production (optimistically), and is going

Not just any hatchback, it’s a reboot of a 1992 Honda CRX, I think:

I'm just thinking that, assuming this thing gets close to 15 mpg highway, you could drive coast-to-coast across the U.S. without ever stopping (assuming you've got got an equally capacious bladder).

Wow, good memory, and of course, the clip was on YouTube. I watched- and loved - that show as a kid, on our *color* 17" TV. Then Rockford Files came on after, I think... ah, the 70s.

You will never sufficiently educate many people - especially younger children - to dramatically lower the rate of pedestrian accidents. People are not getting smarter, but autonomous driving systems are. So while we should strive to educate people, in the long run (not even that long, really), having better tech will

I know exactly what it was a reference to. The point is trying to use an old nickname, or a variation on a name, or turning a name into another word, all of it is part of the immature juvenile "tactics" by trolls who have absolutely nothing to rebut what the person is saying. And they sound all of 12 years old, and
