The problem is state law, not federal law. Look it up, get educated. You’ll be surprised and probably angered.
whoosh and wow, you don’t know anything.....
Hell, let property owners clean up fuels on their own property! As an example, right now, it’s against state law for people to cut down dead trees on their own property in Tahoe
Case in point, a friend of mine owns about 10 acres near Tahoe. He has over 100 dead trees on his property and state laws (not federal mind you - state laws ) won’t allow him to cut them down... on his own damn land.
except it’s not star trek? Ok, it’s kinda star trek but evolution doesn’t work that way ( looking at you weird hairless klingons )
I laughed
:)
You made me laugh. *clap clap clap clap*
Whom? Nature
I live in the bay area and I call it cali. Regardless, I do feel that individual votes count and that each and every person who has voted the ‘tards into office who created these bad forest management policies has rendered judgement upon our state. Individuals matter. Identity politics are shite. And we need to put in…
And, I do not agree.
whooosh....
No, but policies that prevent forest management are. And those are controlled by political parties.
My heart goes out to your sister and her family. I too have a friend who lost his home in Paradise.
Well, yes, but not in the way you probably think. In Cali, we stopped managing forests (doing controlled burns to get rid of the extra fuel) because of our policies, mostly brought about because of the old “green” and democratic parties. And now those policies are biting our asses.
Push this all you want but... Nope.. This is not the Battlefield I want.
I dunno, it was a morning thought.
what?
One wonders... these fires. Are they judgement for how California votes and/or is?
