If it’s a 700hp track day Porsche slaying monster I’ll give poor dependability a pass but a commuter SUV? That thing better be reliable as a hammer.

Yep, having owned a Peugeot engine (2009 Mini Cooper s) I would be warning people away from them aggressively. French cars are not known for reliability.
Please stop calling the 737 max issue a “glitch”. It’s not a “glitch” when you use $9 an hour Indian software developers who have no “flight critical” knowledge to right code for a plane, it’s no glitch when you use the input from one sensor which is known and expected to fail regularly to control an automated pitch…
Because GM is where good ideas go to die. Look at GM history, great ideas, strong engineering but either never executed or if executed done so poorly it flops.
And if it was a tesla the improved range would have already been pushed out to all the cars in existence. My coworker got an early model 3 and with each update his range has been increased (along with other features added). When will “tradational” automakers update and improve already sold cars?
Jesus that was loud!
Good idea Chevy and Ford. And when the buyers realize the Japanese or Korean car is better built, more reliable and has a better warranty I’m sure they will think of you when they decide to buy an SUV in the future. Literally shooting off your own dick.
Said it before, say it again: GM is where good ideas go to die. They have great engineers managed by the worse bean counters. Recipe for meritocracy (at best).
Reverse: Considering Midgley was lead poisoned himself at one of the plants making TEL and as well saw what it was doing to the employees I have a hard time finding him innocent. I will admit by the time he figured it out he was likely to deep in to stop it but he was smart enough to know it’s dangers.
Does any airport still use those? If so where cause I want to visit!
It’s got a Hemi so I’ll allow it!
Looks well executedish but Jesus the 4 cylinder z3’s were tragically slow at best. At least start with a 6cyl or better yet swap in a m62.
Which speaking of this why the hell are their not high speed freight trains running that route right now? Would be more efficient then big boats and given all the empty land could easily be partially if not entirely solar powered. I mean it’s equivalent to Newfoundland to BC and we built that train route in the…
Have to be honest owned 6 german cars so far in my life with stainless exhausts and live in Canada and have never had any issue with rusting. I’ve seen discoloration at the welded joints (where I assume carbon has been freed via heat) but it’s just discolouration not true corrosion or at least not any kind of…
So I’m with you on the steel gauge being wayy too thick but one variable you did not account for was no need to paint. I used to design industrial electrical cabinets and someone asked us make a variant stainless instead of the usual satin coat, CRS powder coated or painted. Amazingly although we charged more once we…
There’s no good way to get from Montreal to TO. I’ve done all three (car, train, fly) and they all suck for different reasons. Train costs almost as much as the plane and takes like 4-6hours, plane leaves from the island so you have to deal with downtown and with that and security takes 4hrs anyway and 401 to Montreal…
Boy looking at your comment history aren’t you just a ball of sunshine? Upset about the impeachment or something?
Probably because your white/ don’t look like an easy target. When I was young I had a full biker beard and drove flashy cars and bikes. Pulled over easily once a week. Once I shaved guess what? No longer pulled over. Cops love to stereotype.
Bugatti and VW are in talks like my boss and I are in talks. Goes something like: “Here’s what you are going to do, get to it”. VW OWNS Bugatti. It’s not a partnership.
“frankly i don’t trust GM not to fuck it up again like with the ELR.”
