Diesel has always been direct injection. It used to be mechanical, now it’s electric. Also I have never heard of glow plugs anywhere but the cylinder so I have no idea what she’s talking about on that one.

For sure the Tacoma is the “smart buy” if your looking for a midsize truck but if I was in the market I’d be all over that gladiator. It just looks cool while the taco looks like everything else on the market. Boring but reliable does not engender excitement.
