Are you sure? The Article bounces back and forth on the question and visually this looks like a M62 with it’s cover off.

I never realized they have what appears to be an E39 dash but with the troublesome LED display changed to LCD. Wonder if this fits and functions backwards!

I’ll have you know males drive these too (although I admit my wife made me buy it).

Holy crap a Jalopnik vehicle I’ve actually driven (well not that actual Voyager but one identically equipped).

Yeah this guy would get mad at me for saying it but BMW’s high water mark was the E39 and E46. They have had occasional bursts of good since (1M and M2) but in general sloping downhill all the way to super boringville (have you seen an X2 up close? Man it is sooooo bland and uninteresting).

Not even close to good enough. Super disappointed in the mpg, must be on the boost all the time moving that behemoth.

Or Geoff

Too much money unfortunately but these are my favorite Honda’s ever built (probably has something to do with my first wild girlfriend having one of these although unfortunately the four door sedan version). Riding buddy of mine had and a non SI hatchback like this with a yoshimura muffler from a GSXR and big racing

I used to own Japanese cars and I would say 2-3x better then German usually. The big issue is the Japanese don’t build anything I like. Most are fwd based and honestly their styling is over the top. I can’t think of anything from Acura or Lexus I’d actually want to own compared to the German alternative. That being

Yep, loved my e39, hated my e61 due to constant maintenance and designed in failure. How bad was it? I switched to VW and it was wayyy more reliable!

Super missed opportunity with those wheels. Modern take on Fuchs or even 356 dog dishes would have been cooler.

Hah! Zune! Super burn.

Your ideas intrigue me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

Cadillac still have a huge perception problem though. Cadillac will have to build cars/ SUV’s better than the germans and sell/ lease them cheaper than the germans and do so for years to build up brand equity and kill the stigma. It’s only when people you know have one and love it or people you respect/ think are cool

Cayuga elevation is 800 feet. Not exactly high elevation.

Exactly. If I showed up and the car was junk of course I’m leaving with my check but after seeing title report and inspection report of course they were not and I’ve been happier with my internet bought cars then i have with dealership bought cars.

I had a MINI dealership trying to put a deposit on my credit card before letting me test drive to show I’m serious! I drove a f’ing hour to get here I’m serious. I walked out and bought the car somewhere else and was sure to email his boss and MINI about it (not that it likely helped). Come to think of it that was

I’ve done this with cars from Chicago, Montreal twice and Quebec city (and I’m from Toronto area). Wayyy better than visiting stealerships!

I’ve bought my last four cars on the internet and loved it. The companies that refused to deal with me with the we don’t sell on the internet but come on down to talk to our weaselly sales reps who actually know nothing about cars but everything about trying to screw you” lost a sale. I picked the car, negotiated

Not in strength on the world stage.” LOL Strength? As a Canadian who travels to and interacts with Europeans on a regular basis we all think your country is at the lowest point strength and respect wise it has ever been. George jr was an idiot but at least listened to smarter people. Drumpf is a dangerous moron who I
