This is bad take.

It’s complicated. I’d much prefer permanent DST; I think it’s more useful having daylight later into the day. That said, there are definitely other aspects to consider, especially for those of us living in more northern latitudes.

Never mind the fact that permanent DST means they never get that hour back or that in the winter children would be headed to the bus in darkness every morning.

Sunset in my part of Canada is now 4pm. Standard time is the worst. Give me my hour of sunlight back. DST 4EVAR!!!

Actually this is the best option. By doing so they no longer have to change time back and forth. They also now have more daylight in the evening than in the morning.
