I'd say you're taking the wrong attitude with the delay. Most developers release bug infested, unfinished, unpolished games, they release them on time oh yes, but they're a steaming mess of wasted opportunities.

The AH destroyed the core gameplay experience which makes these kind of games exciting for longer periods of time. Removing it can't be seen as anything other than a fix.
