I think you’ll love the gameplay but you won’t understand the story. But it’s not like the story is easy to understand even if you have played all the MGS games.

Curious: have you actually played it? This is just the first mission on the easiest difficulty executed with full knowledge and completing none of the challenges. I put 15 hours in before repeating any content.
