I got the WiiU version, IMO it feels right to play this game on a bigger screen, as it is such an homage to NES games.

Because Japan is cruel, and will keep that clock for itself.

Really? Last I looked at selling the new in package one I still have I couldn't find anyone that bought one for half that much on ebay, but its been a few months.

You didn't even mention the hate crime known as Secret of Evermore and no translation of Seiken Densetsu 3.

I also love Robotech and think it has a "right" to exist just as much as Macross or Southern Cross or Mospeda. That said, Harmony Gold, the company that controls it, is one of the worst anime rights holders in existence. Their antics and legal bullshitting have essentially shut down any interest on the part of the

Have to say I was sort of disappointed that I clicked on this post and it wasn't just a link to this site:

Soo...am I the only one who still occasionally likes to play his own music WHILE I play a game? It depends on the game, but particularly in the case of something like a racing game, where the music gets really boring quickly (with some exceptions), I need my own tunes. This was a significant factor in my decision to

Yeah a 3DS with 2 sticks isn't happening, even if you somehow were still holding out hope, think them releasing the 2DS is pretty much the nail in the coffin for that. If a dual stick nintendo handheld happens at some point it will be the successor to the 3DS, not a rev of it.

This is cool, let me know when OtterBox makes one, as my iPhone never leaves its protective clutches.

Optical Audio?

Seems like a big bummer that this game is only Offline co-op after castle crashers did a remarkably good job with online, 4 player co-op.

I'm really unclear on how Microsoft killed the Dreamcast, given that the console ran a modified version of an OS they produced. Pretty sure Microsoft was envisioning a future where they make game console OSes, not hardware. It just didn't work out that way.

Most of the possible "failure" examples are still consoles that produced awesome and unique games. If the new Xbox produces as many amazing titles as the Dreamcast, Saturn or N64 did and flames out in 3 years I'll still call it a win, from a personal standpoint, even if Microsoft's accountants don't agree :)

Jedi Starfighter came out in 2002, not 2005.

Yeah its WayForward, I wouldn't worry about that aspect at all, given how hard some of their other games are.

Yeah, and I'm saying I don't think that market is large enough to support the ridiculous licensing fees it would take to satiate all parties involved. Most imported content from Japan doesn't have the same barriers because its international licensing held by less obnoxious entities.

Yeah thats what I'm saying, Macross Frontier is judged a bit too "mature" for that audience by the suits who decide such things. Otherwise there might be some possibility of Cartoon Network or someone else stepping in to pay the exorbitant license(s), dub it, and bring it over to american audiences. I just don't see

The music for Frontier specifically is licensed separately from the show itself? Realized I didn't mention in my original comment I was mostly talking about Frontier, its the main show that deserves to come over here but seems unlikely to.
