These three seemed to have an instant chemistry compared to Harris, Leblanc and Reid. The latter three seemed to come into their own by the end (mostly in the films), but it was never quite as natural. There was a part of me that thought they picked on Harris a bit much - but I guess he’s taken on the James May role…
DVR’ed the first episode last night and watched the first half hour. Admittedly, going into I was like “ehhh, ok, I’ll watch a bit of this” because I really loved Matt on TG and was bummed to see him go. Rory I don’t miss. Seems like a super nice bloke but just always came across as trying too hard.
On the other hand, the point of such bombers is to reduce other countries’ infrastructures to the point where their quality of life is much worse...
I mean starting on soft tires...what are they doing...
Chaos, randomness and a significantly lower skill-level, apparently:
If the only thing you care about in a F1 race is the winner, I don’t think you’re as big of a fan as you think you are.
The last two races have been phenomenal. Brownell underrates this race, it was fucking great to have Max and Leclerc going at it for something ike 18 laps. Meanwhile just oahead of this, Hamilton was in full attack mode on Bottas and was unable to get it done. The Safety car saved his ass and screwed Bottas. It was a…
No kidding. Or just Max and Leclerc duking it out in general. Charles pass on Gasly was awesome. I like Charles and think he’s going to be a lot of fun to watch for a while.
You wouldn’t call this a good race? What more are you looking for?
I know teams are desperate for sponsors, but this seems like a situation that could have been avoided with just a modicum of due diligence on the part of Haas.
I absolutely LOVED this race, it was in my opinion even better than the one in Austria.
“It wasn’t what I’d call a good race”
You missed a lot of action
I remember things like this happening to Mark Webber when he was Vettel’s teammate at Red Bull. Vettel learned from Michael Schumacher about how to essentially galvanize a team around his cause. The teammates always get the worst of it.
>>>Sad when the most interesting pass in the race happens in pitt lane.
Easy call to make. Every other series of any significance or endurance has refueling during the race except for F1. NASCAR has it, and fuel strategy with the pitstops needed is one of the only things keeping that series interesting. Indy has fueling on open-wheel cars that are really similar to F1 in all the important…
Don’t go to a car website that writes about F1 if you haven’t watched the race yet.
Would it hurt to avoid a site that you know covers Formula One if you don’t want it spoiled?
You have high expectation of this online news rag.
