Better plot than most car movies deserve.

It HAS to have Jason Statham in it.

If movies have taught me anything, it’s that a highly-skilled team of mercenaries hijacked a submarine, silently boarded the tanker containing the cars, started a fire as a distraction and, as the crew escaped, cut a whole in the bow and unloaded the Porsches onto the submarine before the boat sank.

Porsche 911 GT2 RS for sale.

Article VII, Section 12. Paragraph 4:

Gonna need one of these.

So what you are saying is there are a bunch of 911 GT2 RS for the taking and the only obstacle is a bit of water?

“...(S)hould Elon really just stop tweeting?”

Oblig.

I’m going to maintain my tradition on these Jalopnik/Bond posts: Get Bond back in a Lotus. I love Astons and certainly the DB5, but I would love to see him back in a Lotus for a film or two. Of course Eon would basically have to do this gratis for Lotus as they could never swing the tie-in cash Aston Martin can shell

How is 1 of 155 stealthy?

Now playing

The best Craig-era Bond-car-chase was Quantum of Solace. The rest of the movie, not so great.

Excuse me? Everyone knows James Bond doesn’t stick around for the part where you’d need the back seat.

None of my cars have cupholders. Do your drinking at the cafe, you troglodyte.

Thats the Cross Turismo, a different vehicle based on the Taycan. Most importantly: not actually in production.

I have one of these on order and am super excited for it.

While I do mostly agree, your picture is the taycan cross-turismo and is still a prototype.  Some small changes could still happen.

Man, this really sucks. I’ve literally never known an F1 where Charlie isn’t directing races. With all the politics around F1, Charlie seemed separate from it all. He always seemed to me like a quiet giant of the sport. He did his job, kept things running fairly, and he had a better rapport with the drivers than I’d

I knew Charley well from the GP2 days. What was impressive was the amount of work he had, yet he always had time for a chat. Even during F2, when he did not oversee the category anymore, he would always have a moment. Never seen someone work so hard, yet be so laid back. And he had a wicked sense of humor. Will miss

This is such sad news.

Maybe the saddest part is that he will not be around for the 1000th F1 race, which will be this season. As someone who had been part of the sport for over 40 years, there’s few people that deserved more to be around during this race.
