“His lawyer also intends to seek interest...” on cash? The cash his client doesn’t trust the interest building systems enough to put it in?

Kinda feels like it was loved by someone quite thoroughly, and that someone’s only nitpick was it’s phone connectivity was the only drag on an otherwise wonderful car so they decided on the aftermarket stereo.
Thanks for a great career and for making the sport better Kimi. A rare breed.
That was a classic “architect has thought that doesn’t translate to any real world” type of article. The twist was that it was coming from someone who’s likewise making their living in architecture lol.
Having many friends, and a brother, who I’ve known all the way from college to their current careers in architecture…
Saw it last night and it was pretty fun. The most fun at the theatre in quite a while. Better than expected really, though my expectations were low.
We had maybe 8 people in our theatre and it was actually pretty nice to hear other people laugh along.
People often vacation in the suburbs when they’re visiting family that lives there.
Half my family lives 850 miles away in Canada, they’ve been coming down for visits for 40 yrs. Not once has any of them ever stayed in the city. They’ve either stayed with my folks in the burbs or at a hotel in the burbs.
Agreed.
Now do Lizzo.
Agreed. Norris was consistently better than everyone in the previous two sessions, on inters, and seeing Danny Ric in 4th it sure seemed like we missed out on the papaya orange leading the pack to start tomorrow.
So, brand new Passat bad, 20 yr old Grand Cherokee good? Wild place, that Turkey is.
The europeans called the grand prix in Baku the European Grand Prix...
Looks like Daveinda’s comment re:reverse (and it’s thread) is missing? Was taken down?
Yeah, Kinja has been brutal. I ended up giving up yesterday.
Slavery might be a better argument if A) Communist regimes hadn’t used it in the form of forced labor well after the 17th century or B) chattel slavery was used exclusively in Capitalist economies or C) there was an argument that we shouldn’t fight regimes with slavery like we fought against the USSR. I’d be in favor…
Ha ha, no not nearly that bad. Maybe a few beers from the food car, but mostly edibles and then playing a game of “use this pen to draw any three lines, then pass the pen, in this sketch book” which proved to be a remarkably interesting game under the circumstances. I’m mostly concerned our conversation/laughing may…
“Killed in the name of” or “killed inadvertently due to the principles of” hard to say how that is the most consequential issue.
Planned economies have a history of famine, and it’s rather fanciful to pretend that somehow the Holodomor or the Great Chinese Famine (the two most deadly man-made famines in human history) a…
And yet, still better than NY overall or per capita, even with an older population.
Ha ha, yep. My limited experience with Amtrak trips (both short and longer) is that many riders are using their time to get fairly lit. Can’t say I’ve always steered clear of that as one trip was up to Chicago for a bachelor party, but we tried to keep our shenanigans to ourselves and in the food car as best we could…
Yeah, hard to imagine a more ignorant take on such an immensely consequential part of recent history. Erik could’ve easily summed it up with “I’m an apathetic dipshit who can’t be bothered to look into it...”
And yet fewer than NY (and much much fewer per capita).
“especially in schools”
It’s still not approved for kids under 12, wasn’t sure if you were referring to everyone in the schools or just the adults, etc
