I keep seeing Jalop writers talk about the hypercar class being a giant crap show and how smart the Daytona hybrid class is, and they say things like “Curiously, this news comes at a time in which the other top class that will soon compete for overall victory at the world’s greatest endurance race, Le Mans Daytona h

The Jalop tag line continues to become more and more ironic. Drive free or die, but assuredly Jalop wants the latter.

I’d think, and hope, he’d like to stick around until at least 2022 to see what new challenge that car is like and at least long enough to race for one more team, probably Ferrari or Red Bull.  Why not drive the post regs change car and see if you can win a championship in three different teams?  Especially if, as it

Two things this article makes abundantly clear.
1) Click bait articles certainly get the clicks (mine included)

Nail -> head

I’ve been wanting to get a vehicle of this ilk for years now, just not at a practical time in my life to do so. A 100' land yacht coup sounds awesome.

Low costs was one of the reasons so many automakers joined Formula E to begin with. You can go racing with the name on the cars and the gear and get the normal publicity from international motor sports without having to spend as much in R&D and manufacturing this single seater every year like you would in Formula 1.

I would.

Wut?

LOL

Terrifying?  Terrifyingly predictable.
