That's a nice idea. In my prenatal class, all of the women who stated similar ideas wound up with c-sections, and ultra long birth experiences (hence the c-sections). It doesn't make sense to me to make up your mind so concretely before the event, but maybe this is baby #2 for her?

I'm in Canada too, and that was exactly my plan. 6 months and we're done. I'm typing this as my now 7 month old nurses however. She got 2 teeth at 4 months, and honestly, it's not bad at all. What is difficult is solid food! It's way easier to just pop them on your boob whenever they need it, versus planning solids…
