I’ve always been under the impression a car that sits is worse than one that is driven.

I mean, the E39 M5 still took a lot of work to keep on the road. That 400k M5 is an incredible outlier. It’s certainly far more impressive than the million mile Lexus.

A car sitting in a garage makes 0 horsepower.

I had forgotten there was a time when an M car could go this many miles.

but beep in mind the dealers and the automakers can only throw so much money at these cars from a financial perspective.

The extra six inches of wheelbase does so much for the proportions on this car. You don’t realize how stubby the stock version actually is until you see how graceful the longer lines are on the stretched version.

Having driven the non-suicide-door Black Label edition I can say in complete confidence the ride is plenty cushy enough even with the 20"s. That suspension is magical.

Totally agree. Good for Lincoln - this is sweet and glad its in production. I have been cold to these new ones but this is a very good thing. 

I am 100% about this. I would like to see a little more sidewall on the tires though. If you're going full luxury, embrace the cushy ride. 

Ya know....in the age of Porsche charging $5k for a clock or Ferrari charging $30k for a paint job, I’m gonna let this pass. At least this is cool.
