I was at that company for 10 years so I put my time in. The experiences I gained were vital but they continually undervalued me. I am very happy at the company I'm at now and my coworkers here say they feel like I've been here for years and my 90 days isn't even up.

As someone who recently (July) changed jobs it's fascinating to see the president of your company ask "what did I do wrong." Although I agree with your statement on gold, all commodities shouldn't be lumped in the same way. Copper, Crude Oil, Platinum, Wheat etc. all have significant industrial uses and demand.
