I'm really looking for a Surface Pro deal. I've got a family member who would benefit in all the best ways from one of these (2D artist, very little space (desktop isn't an option)), but $900 is a bit high.

Oddly enough, I really like The Scarlet Letter and Lord of the Flies, both of which I despised in high school English. After looking back on them and reading them again, I find it really does take a bit of a more mature mind to enjoy them. (LoTF a bit less so, but it still takes maturity to really feel the ending.)

I don't get why the second and third movies get so much shit. I love 'em all.

The other problem with the ice sheets melting is their composition compared to the ocean water (which is salty, and more bouyant); the introduction of that much fresh water into the ocean slows down the ocean's global heat circulation, further altering environments across the planet.

Temperature shifts required to change climates on a global level can be fairly slight. I believe the estimated temperature gain required at Mars' poles to trigger runaway greenhouse effects for terraforming purposes was only 4 degrees.

So an eighth of what would completely change the atmospheric makeup of another

I do well enough. My left sidebar setup makes it much, much easier.

The videos are all mismatched for me o_o

PC games have been that way for longer than Steam has been doing it, or at least longer than they were worshipped as the lord on high. And Steam (Valve) is God because they're running sales so often it's become its own standard. They're smart with distribution, which lets us keep more of our cash for what we want -

Sounds more like you should buy him a pizza.

THQ was doing bad. This is known. Their titles haven't been exciting, and leaving only little splashes. DLC sucks, but as a company trying to compete with the likes of Activision and EA, they've gotta do what makes money. And even that failed, which should at least give confidence to a decline in DLC. We can hope?

In the shower, taking a dump, driving to [location], that's where my mind isn't necessarily focused on anything. It's almost like my brain's allowing me to think about whatever, for that duration of time, without feeling guilty for *not* being productive - because I know it's impossible to be productive in those

I like Snipping Tool, but there are some occasions where the one key to save screen and the two keys to copy it into a chat are more than enough. Though that's among friends, and I don't usually have anything I'd like to keep out, anyway.

They could just move entirely into movie production? Haha

From someone who's played ~ half of the series, this was in my opinion accurate and pretty damn funny, too.
