On the other hand, everyone on earth is immortal, except for Capt. Jack Harkness.

Saw the trailer for Last Resort before TDKR and I have to say I was disappointed. It's basically a cross between Crimson Tide and an anime movie I can't remember the name of. Worse that being a rehash of two good films, it seems to be following the same trend Hollywood has been on lately of making movies about

Orrrr...you could import the region free Blu-ray from Amazon.uk like I did and watch it in the comfort of your own home. (spoiler alert: the movie was just meh)

As a Conservative (but not a Dittohead) and a lifelong Batman fan, I have to say this is so stupendously idiotic that it will probably do more harm to the Romney campaign than the DNC could ever hope for. Thank, Rush. If Mitt is smart he will call it out as asinine and run as far from it as he can.

Ben is the only reason I'm still watching this show.

So if Scientology becomes the overwhelmingly dominant force in Australia in 20 years, will they add in something about Xenu? I'm just saying, you can't be true to yourself AND chase the trends.

I love it when you guys post articles like this! I feel like I'm recouping all the IQ points I lost reading Gizmodo well after its prime.

I don't know about the other religions, but we Christians believe that God created the entire universe, so why would the arrival of more of His creation make us doubt His existence?

Well said, Charlie! I'm wondering if you've read the book. I only ask because I had a very similar experience with this movie (and for once found myself agreeing with mainstream critics as well) and the question that keeps nagging me is: Do I feel this movie was shit because it was shit or because I came into it

Well, she could always dust off Midnight Sun…

Agreed. Sounds like they were actually listening to the people who managed to stick out the first season. I'll give it to the end of this season to decide if I'm going to keep watching.

All very true. But keep in mind that Aliens takes place 57 years after Alien. But still, seems like contact with ETs was somewhat common.

I've always wondered why the humans weren't more dumbfounded about finding a new life form. Had we already found extra terrestrial life by that point? Either way, you'd think that coming across the corpse of a brand new life form, one that clearly was spacefaring at that, they'd be a little more excited.

"Hey, movies are confusing, we get that. Sometimes it's just more fun to watch a video game."

Frankly, I don't think that Coulson is dead. The last thing we saw the medics were showing up, and just before that Coulson was saying how the Avengers needed something to rally around. Add to that the fact that Fury lied about the trading cards and I expect to see Coulson alive and well in the next Marvel universe

Completely agree on both counts. Both shows have had very good, storylines that don't insult the viewer's intelligence, whether that viewer is 30 or 12.

lol! You win this round...

OMG, I am so tired of the same ol' "assassin falls for target" storyline we've seen a billion times! How about something original? Like "assassin kills target and then ______".

Kyle Killen, the series creator, breaks down the finale and what was intended for the second season here:
