Loved the episode, but I had the same thought all the way through: KILL THE CORTEXIPHAN DOPPLEGANGERS!!!! They weren't in hiding. The Fringe team knows who they all are. They could've easily taken them out in 6+ hours! Yeah, it sucks but you're saving TWO ENTIRE UNIVERSES. I think you'd be forgiven.

Ah, duh! Don't know why I kept thinking that. You're right of course. Still...X-Files homage!

The Trailer for The Awakening looks good and it's already out on Blu-ray in the UK. May just have to import that bad boy!

Anyone notice that the name of this episode, Fight The Future, is the name of the first X-Files movie? Another well played homage.

Ask me about man made climate change and the war on Christians in this country and you may think differently. :)

"Were you surprised that you guys jumped from space to Earth in the end?"

All I'm saying is that if insurance covers Viagra, it should cover birth control.

I think our difference of opinion is based on how we are reading the sentence: "But we live in a nation that provides almost no assistance to low-income women who want to be mothers."

"But we live in a nation that provides almost no assistance to low-income women who want to be mothers." If they barely make enough to fend for themselves, they shouldn't be having kids. Part of parental responsibility is being prepared for the child.

How about a proper Blade reboot? That's a proven property. And a proper Punisher movie while you're at it, now that Marvel has the rights back. And, yes, Dr. Strange. I'd love to see a good Dr. Strange movie.

"But Tony Stark and Steve Rogers don't just lead the coolest team, but the most lovable team in the Marvel universe. (Sorry, X-Men.)"

Agreed. Kids these days—no love for the classics!

Every single fight scene in Starz' Spartacus series. Every. Single. One.

"After Jonas randomly tries to shoot Emmet (why? we never know)..."

While Rick has also done a poor job of keeping track of his kid, he has been busy leading the group, defending the group (against walkers and other humans), going on dangerous scouting missions and supply runs, etc. Meanwhile Lori doesn't do anything else. Her only job is to watch Carl. That's why she gets singled

I think we need an MVP spoiler award for whoever provided the synopses for the last 3 eps. After the first one was dead on, I didn't bother with the IO9 prescribed grain of salt.

I love this show! I agree that it really didn't need the whole external conspiracy plot, but if they insist on doing it, I hope they keep up the same high levels of writing we've seen so far.

So far as I can tell, he lives a full day, let's say Monday, twice. So he wakes up Monday morning, lives all of Monday in Red World, then goes to bed Monday night then wakes up Monday morning in Green World and lives Monday all over again. He wouldn't cross when he naps because it seems to be that he lives out the

I have the original on Blu-ray and thought it was pretty effective, although I admit to being kind of confused about the ending. Thanks for clearing that up. I think. I didn't get the rape vibe from the original.
