I really don't have any faith in Hollywood anymore, but these projects could work if helmed by the right director—Ridley (of course), Arronofsky, or Fincher could get me excited about this otherwise forget it.

Why does the game in the commercial have the Gameloft logo? Are they still pretending this thing isn't going to play PS games?

@das7002: So far as I've heard, jailbreaking the PS3 doesn't unlock the region coding for the BD drive ie you can't watch movies locked to other regions.

@Charlie Jane Anders: I would've bumped Alice in Wonderland (which I thoroughly enjoyed) and replaced it with Repo Men (which I literally watched only the first 20mins and last 10mins because it was just that bad...IMO)

I live Dorff's idea for a Scarface inspired Deacon Frost flick. Sounds awesome! Also, I think Blade is ripe for a reboot. More horror. Fewer wisecracks. A mix of the first two flicks.
