I did a redesign on the man-way system at the top of the turbine dryer on the very top of the paper mill while still in operation. I thought working in an aluminum foundry in Texas was effing hot.

Impressive indeed.

Not sure how big the Giga-plant will be when finished, but sounds a lot like most paper converting mills in North America. I worked at our local Kimberly-Clark plant in Tulsa. It is 1.7 million square feet of low-humidity, cooled manufacturing space for the converting of pulp wood and fiber into paper for converting

Looking back on it now, it seems amazing that they stuck in there so long. I remember seeing Jimmy Vasser and Alex Zanardi practicing at IMS on a visit to the track and that seems like another life ago. Its a shame for IndyCar. Will we see team and driver defections over to LeMans/sports car racing now? Will some of

I would imagine so.

I wonder which is easier to find, a running 348ts or a running Syclone?

I made that mistake one day at the grocery store. Hmmm, its probably been 35 years since I ate a fish stick. I should get some. Dear God those things are beyond terrible. Press formed spoiled carp I would guess.

WIN.

I don’t understand Snowden’s stance here:

Dick Mode. ENGAGED!

The Hoon Law sounds like it was lifted right out of the old Reefer Madness documentary. Push that button, your car instantly goes sideways and next thing you know you’ve got girls wearing short skirts and promiscuity is on the loose.

Thanks Simon. ;)

Pretty much fool proof isn’t it? Plug it in to the computer via the Apple USB cable, iTunes recognizes it and begin the sync process begins and three hours later it finishes.

One thing I have noticed with the crashes that have happened while folks are using the Autopilot feature in the Tesla, is that they are using it in heavy traffic with too much for the car to keep up with. Trucks turning left in front of you, traffic that comes to sudden and inexplicable halt, random things such as

No. The iPhone was my first smart phone. Great device. It was the iTunes software which ruined it all for me. 3 hours to sync a song to the phone? Digging through menus and settings to simply be able to do a simple task in iTunes without it doing a complete backup of the device that would take all night.

No I cannot... nor would I.

Reminds me of the old Universal Military Simulator back the early days of computers. You could setup your armies for melee in any genre, from throwing rocks at each other to blasting one another with laser cannons.

Good job Jason. Even though it didn’t go as you planned you refrained from completely freaking out and got the car shut down. That’s far more an important part than most think. Had everything gone as planned would you have learned as much? Would you have the same respect?

College is expensive, but its doubly expensive if you must go to a major university and you must live on campus. If you take your first two semesters at a local accredited junior college or municipal college and take as much as you can at a much lower cost, then transfer to finish up, you can cut your college debt by

They really wanted to know how VW was cheating. But if you raise a red flag, then that invites a scrutinizing eye into everyone. Thus you see the other makers scrambling to correct mileage estimates and other exaggerated claims.
