@Grygus: "The question"? What question are you referring to? The video doesn't raise the issue of innovation or developing trends, and the article simply suggestions it shows "important steps".

@Superfly_CJ: Give it a few more years, we can start using Half Life 2 Episode 3.

On one hand, I want to preorder. On the other hand... oh, who am I kidding? Preorder confirmed.

@Grygus: You assume I assume you dislike Halo. All I said was that whether you like the game or not is irrelevant.

@dsectric: Convoluted is a familiar complaint when people complain about MW2. I thought it was a rather straightforward false flag story, quite easy to follow for anyone paying attention.

@Grygus: "The ignorant", oh my. Well, I don't want to appear ignorant, I best agree with you post-haste, so my opinions can be as valid as yours.

@savage: So something being more popular than you think it deserves to be makes it overrated, and it is therefore excluded from being mentioned in a rundown of landmark FPS games.

@AndyboyH: Ah, my mistake. You'd think I'd remember that after that insipid Gwen Stefani song.

@savage: If you cannot acknowledge Halo had a significant cultural impact on the world of video games and the FPS genre, you are delusional.

Can we deck our characters out in all kinds of crazy clothing? That's the REAL point of Akihabara isn't it? To design some stupid outfit and parade yourself around the strip to see if anyone has out-styled you?

Not a single mention of Halo. Video, I am disappoint.

@darkboy1200: Evony is like the bastard child of WoW and Farmville, and Farmville spent the last six months drinking heavily.

@dsectric: I don't know, I played an over the top action set in a fictional approximation of present-day earth that was comprised of some well conducted action sequences in a broad variety of international locations with some stunning plot twists that conveyed a strong emotional impact to the player.

@suppaman: And like I've clarified several times, single player first is my opinion - what other people do is not relevant to me. This entire thread is about my feelings on the game, and my desire to see how the story ends.

@Numanoid: Hey, I hated Black Ops too. *brofist*

@Smidget: I don't disagree, this is exactly why Kotick is investigating ways to sell a subscription-based multiplayer FPS service for the CoD franchise (which people keep misinterpreting as forcing people to pay a subscription for the current iteration of COD multiplayer).

@mw_swedeking1: If the products are poor I will certainly stop buying them - I've already said I'm not a fan of Activisions practices.

@suppaman: I always buy a game for the story mode and consider the multiplayer as a secondary feature. What other people do is not my concern.

@Eternal: You're implying pcompanies with huge profit margins should employ people they don't need or otherwise undertake pursuits that are unprofitable jsut because they have a large financial buffer. I don't agree with a lot of Activision's business practices - I think they've treated Infinity Ward like dirt, and
