@GoodPatton: So I've heard. Never got into the game myself, so I'm certainly not judging it.

@dsectric: A not at all uninteresting point. I don't doubt that there is a greater proportion of mature games on the PC platform as consoles generally regarded as toys by parents and bought for children who play alongside adult gamers, wheras this is less likely to occur on the PC so the people playing on the PC are…
@ThaCarlos: I'd say it's the consoles alone that attract immature and non-team players. I tend to think it's (generally) the older gamers who primarily game on the PC - so the proportion of rational and mature players outweighs the unsupervised screaming ten year olds.
@dmcshinobi: The majority of remarks I have seen from PC gamers in relation to Black Ops is that it's broken - maybe they just think it's broken because it's so terrible? I know I did at first, playing it on my 360. Nevertheless, many would-be BlOps players have been unable to play the game to any great extent due to…
Given that I have never played a Tomb Raider game before, I think I'm going to hop on the reboot bandwagon here, admit the game looks pretty good, and hope it plays well when I pick up my copy.
@dmcshinobi: I'm glad you understand the difference. What was your point again?
I'm going to say it's because the majority of console gamers are currently playing Black Ops - which is too broken for most PC gamers to enjoy, so they've had to go back to BC2.
@estpaul: Split-screen multiplayer would be great... if it worked. Half the time your loadouts get all mixed up between players, and sometimes it even mixes up our controls (I play inverted and my wife doesn't).
I think my game of the year is Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. It brings a great addition to the story, takes everything that was great about AC2 and adds more of that, along with several new gameplay mechanics. The fact that you can actually recruit assassins to perform missions and support you in combat was great.
@Focusknock: You can see her boobies THREE TIMES.
@male_07: I tell you, there is nothing more satisfying to me than getting a kill on someone who has been playing in a cheap way and hearing his groan of frustration over proximity voice through my headset.
@jezzarisky: This exactly. "camping" with short range weapons is how you use short range weapons. When I see a guy with a shotgun charging towards me across open ground while I 5-shot him with my DMR, I call the guy an idiot.
@atrimus: I think you think there's less kids because less people have headsets on PSN? Possibly?
@BurntSystem: I tried Black Ops for like... a day. Then went back to Reach.
@roseofmay: Back in the days when broadband was a rare commodity, it wasn't uncommon to see some enterprising street vendors selling pirated games at $10-$20 a pop. Less than retail, and they came already cracked so you didn't need to find working patches yourself.
Wow, the technology stats arem indblowing. I mean I was there in 2000, I was aware of technology, but looknig back I really am amazed by what's different. Even when I think about the 2G cellphone I had then compared to the smartphone I have today...
@YamiKarasu: I guess when you're on a reality show that's 50% competition and 50% job interview, you're going to mostly behave yourself.
@Avinant: Promoting this because yeah, there's too damn much of this "omg only 12 hours" crap going on right now. He died - saying he shouldn't have is going to change diddly, else there'd be a lot more 'unfair' deaths being undone on a daily basis.
Was this show even that interesting to watch? I never got around to watching it myself because, well... watching people to compete for an awful job is something I hope I never have to do until I'm getting paid to be a manager somewhere.
