@jellotek: I'm afraid I have to disagree. One thing Modern Warfare did for me was bring home the horrible reality of war, something that too many other games are willing to ignore in favour of showering the player in glory.
@ToastyUterus: I know what you were asking, I was just picking on your grammar. #callofdutymodernwarfare2
@searanox: Kind of like how people turned on Assassin's Creed after they got sick of Jade Raymond flouncing around and giggling on stage during every gameplay demo she hosted.
What exact damages is he claiming for? He's been barred from using a free service, which I presume he violated the terms of service of in order to get banned.
@TomWar: Nevermind that you could blow off heads and arms in World at War and Wolfenstein, and cut people in half in Prototype. I think maybe the classification board only play five minutes into each game. Since there's probably a fire axe on the ground outside the start point in the first level, bam, refused…
@ThreeOneFive: Yawn. A feature you don't have to use that takes two minutes to implement gets added into a game that is otherwise the same as it was before this announcement. This is related to the decision to drop dedicated servers in what way?
@-MasterDex-: Actually, I don't have a strong opinion on people complaining about the dedicated servers, at least not in and of themselves. I understand that people got used to having this feature in their games - since I'm getting the 360 version and am unlikely to play the multiplayer beyond "trying it out"…
@ToastyUterus: His retarded what? #callofdutymodernwarfare2
JESUS, I can't believe people are actually complaining about this.
PS3 games aren't region-locked. Surely you can open this one up to Australia?
@Ursus-Veritas: Even just the fact that you can purchase artwork indicates you'll have some sort of customisable lair - which is totally unnecessary, but cool at the same time. #assassinscreed
@Save me: I'd rather get trite chapter-based achievements than have to do a billion flag-hunting or grindy miniquests. #assassinscreed
@Dead Giveaway: My followup point here was that maybe there'd be a CoD section if Infinity Ward and Treyarch put as much work into their online community services as Bungie do. #halowaypoint
@Dead Giveaway: Gah, edit made my comment disappear.
@Archaotic: So many people I play online think that the 7th column symbol means I'm a Bungie employee, especially now that I've unlocked Recon via the Vidmasters. Seriously. Are that many people unfamiliar with bungie.net? #halowaypoint
@Daniel @ playreadwrite.blogspot.com: Considering how much use I get out of the stat tracking on Bungie.net, why wouldn't I use this? #halowaypoint
I remember reading about this game at the same time I read about Sabotage, later renamed Velvet Assassin. I got them mixed up and was disappointed with what Velvet Assassin turned out to be.
@Tevor_the_Third: I don't know why anyone would apply the term to themselves. People here tend to class themselves otaku because they have nerd-pride and love anime.
@UCB-Disco: Ah, but can people tell just by looking at you whether you have a hentai obsession?
