Thank you. This is almost exactly the response I was going to type.  Between housing and car, you’re broke.

That’s why a 5 year old MY with 56,000 miles is the new 2 year old with 20,000 miles 😵

Prior to my Camaro and Cruze, I had a 2005 Corolla with just 3,600 at the time I purchased it... for $3,000... back in 2013. Insane how much prices have climbed.

100% agree with everything you just said.

Yes, 5k is the new 2.5k. Hell, 7k might be the new 2.5k.

I can see it now... Enterprising criminals read this blog post comment and internalize it. Then, when they see a cop pulling one of these out, they think, “Hey, I can outrun the tracker! Punch it!” And thus begins another high-speed chase.

Yeah, a projectile moving 37 MPH, assuming zero drag (because I don’t know how to do that kind of math), is going roughly 54 feet/sec. If the target car is 35 feet away, that’s around a 0.65 second travel time.

37mph is slow enough that it’s unlikely to explode a pedestrian’s head or anything. I guess if this leads to fewer high speed chases, this is good? The trackers look big and obvious enough to limit most creeptastic uses.

Dammit, beat me to it.

With companies like this, a plateau is just as bad if not worse than an actual decline. With EV markets expanding at light speed, they’ve been flatlined since Q1 2021.

Something about the way it looks just screams to me: “Now you and 45 of your closest friends can die in a low-speed collision!”

It’s damned near “scammer cheap” to be honest. Somebody possibly *doesn’t* know what he has. Or it looks a lot less good in person. Really needs some underside photos. My Alfa Spider looked good from above...

If it was here in FL I would already be making plans to go look at it tomorrow, and I need a 3rd convertible like I need a couple of ex-wives. MN is just a tad too far, too much work stuff going on. If it was a quiet stretch though...

Slow down folks. 162 feet is not “one of the largest superyachts in the world”. It doesn’t crack the top 178 (that’s as far as wikipedia counts). However, given that the 178th largest yacht in the world is 246 feet long, I’m comfortable saying this thing doesn’t crack the top 200.

Those capacity and range specs seems kinda suspect esppecially after hearing the performance metrics they want to advertise.  “up to” is doing WORK for them here.

Lightning gets over $100k, so imagine this will follow it right past six figures too.

Do you have any sources whatsoever you can cite to support your claim re: lithium and contradict his? Or were you just hoping for stars with zero accountability?

Fucking touch screens...Outside looks nice though, and that’s the only part of these I’ll probably ever see in person.

how about a 350z/370z. That’s modern enough

You can get pretty recent Subaru STi with that budget. Make sure you leave enough budget for a very thorough inspection to find out how much hoonage it has already lived through. These cars can look surprisingly good while being more worn out than hand me down clothes making their way to child #5.
