I think the minivan is going to have its own renaissance moment soon. In speaking of the Odyssey, the wait lists for that vehicle are pretty intense, especially in hybrid form which has wait times anywhere from 1 to 4 years. I think minivans will come back as people embrace practicality. Ram and Ford full-size trucks

I guess apples to apples, yes, Telluride is cheaper. But not this Telluride, the SX Prestige, which starts at $51k. Theoretically, you should be able to get a Sienna awd for around $42k, but god only knows what the wait time on it is. I should probably place my order now in hopes for 2025.

Mid-size three-row SUVs are just the most absurd things to me. I know I’m preaching to the choir here, but, I’ll never get it. With the third row seats up you get 21 cubic feet of cargo space. That’s nothing. That’s less than a Honda HR-V (24). And wayyyy less than the small/large SUVs like the Nissan Rogue (36) or

I was looking at some property for sale the other day in eastern New York (east of Albany, nearing the MA border). It was pretty easy to buy 5-10 acres for somewhere in the neighborhood of $40-70k. So, on that basis, it’d be a no go for me.

Fully on board until I got to the interior...

I’d much rather have the unmolested M45 it was based on, which is a handsome and rather unique car all on its own. This thing? Not so much.

Probably Saltburn. But only because, unlike Saltburn, I don’t think at all about Gran Turismo. Ever. Even when I was watching it I didn’t think about it lol. But now Saltburn is stuck with me. Like Requiem for a Dream or Mulholland Drive or Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Yes. It gave me all those feelings, and I still don’t know quite how I feel about any of it...

Lol. That’s pretty fun.

I watched it.

Yeah, I’ve never had a gate-checked bag get lost. The baggage checked at the gate is usually very important (strollers, wheelchairs, and other similar mobility items) and so I find it a pretty fool proof method.

Lol. That is not a surprise...

So insane. I wish I had a Scrooge McDuck pile of cash.

The situation sucks all around. Everyone bringing on their carry-ons sucks because there isn’t enough room and having bags down by your feet is the worst. Boarding and de-boarding takes significantly longer, and I can’t even count the amount of times I’ve had some idiot smash me with their carry on.

Psh. Whatever. I could totally do that.

Yeah, the age of Pitt strains credibility. I think he’s gotta be 60 by now, or at least pushing it, and there’s really only one credible modern F1 source that a driver over 40 can achieve results. That being Alonso. Schumacher’s return was fun to see, but he was no longer the same driver.

Yeah. For sure true. In one of my comments below I kind of address that they seem to treat their streaming services as a side project no matter what the cost.

Was a rental, but we took tiny back roads from western Austria through the Swiss Alps to Geneva over four days in mid September and came across the most stunning vistas over and over and over again. Images that will never be unstuck from my head.

Yup. It’s crazy. I see no way that this movie comes even close to breaking even. Frankly, I’d be shocked if it cracks $200 million. That said, for Apple, it doesn’t seem like it matters what movies “make” for them - it’s all about “prestige” titles to get people to buy Apple’s streaming products. They are trying to
