Hopefully someone can shed some light on the question. I haven’t come across much as to actual ownership with a car seat.

I have no idea of how it worked with Red Bull. But independent attorneys perform investigations all the time. Whistleblowers, at government request, internal complaints (like here), compliance evaluation, potential criminal charges, and many other things are investigated by independent attorneys who are hired to do…
Any Jalops out there have any insight on using car seats in the Maverick? From what I’ve read, it looks like it’s a real hassle for most seats and that leg room quickly becomes an issue... Love to know if anyone has any personal experience though.
I mean, it was an independent investigation performed by an outside lawyer that was hired by Red Bull. Of course, Red Bull have some control over who they selected, but I don’t think it can be read as they investigated themselves...
She’s definitely great, and it’s so much better than hearing whatever nonsense Crofty or Ted Kravitz are spitting. I like all the strategy insights. That said, it seems like she should have noted her being wrong about the RBR release, because she was ‘highly suspicious’ that the RBR car shown during the reveal was a…
Sad that this 20 year old model of a long discontinued car is far more appealing than anything Infiniti sells now. They used to be interesting, but boy, that hasn’t been true in a long while.
I’m not sure that’s correct but I’m not smart enough to know for sure lol. Say you have a Model S with a three-year breakeven period that you trade in on a Model Y after two years of ownership. You still have 1 year of breakeven on the Model S left and just started a three-year breakeven on the Model Y. At that…
As to your latter point, building a BEV generates far more CO2 than a similar-sized conventional vehicle. That’s incontrovertible. Estimates vary - sometimes widely - but somewhere between 50% and 80% more C02 is generated to build an EV than a similar gas model. While that is offset by the fact that it does not…
Deal of the day, right there..
As I was typing that comment I was trying to come up with what seemed like a ludicrous number. Apparently, I had not looked at wakeboat prices for a few years...
Very familiar with the Ozarks shootout! I mean, I’ve never been, but watched plenty of videos. Went down the rabbit hole of high speed runs at Ozarks a couple years ago after I first went out with some other guys on their speedboats on Sacandaga. The boats down there are incredible. I can’t even imagine it. I…
The boat before this one was a 17ft Bayliner open bow I picked up for real cheap because it needed a bunch of work, but all the work was relatively straightforward. But my god doing anything in the engine area was just a miserable experience. You’d need three hands and a detachable eye to be able to do anything. I got…
Oh man, that 303 is a gorgeous boat. There’s one, or one similar to it, on the lake I regularly am on. Beautiful racket from that thing. Count me as jealous!
That’s definitely true (about passenger capacity). Only much bigger open bows, center consoles, or pontoons could ever compete with that. Good point.
No offense to wakeboarders, but I will never, ever understand paying that much for a boat of such limited utility and I just don’t understand what the justification is for the price. Even the most complicated ballast system in the world isn’t that expensive. The forward-drive outdrives are now pretty old hat,…
The natural progression of where trucks are headed. People want a 70s luxo-barge ride with that much space and room while being able to pretend that they are going to do something useful or trucky with it. Gotta be able to tow that $190k wakeboard boat twice a year!
100 miles is definitely plenty.
A gently used Bolt is certainly the best deal in the EV market. You can pick up a 2023 Bolt with around 5-10k miles for under $20k.
It’d be nice if we could hit 200 miles of ideal range at this price. Factor in cold or hot weather, and 137 miles becomes 100 pretty quick.
It would be cool if you did things with cars that humans couldn’t tolerate. Make them go 500mph. Race them around loops and corkscrews. Let fans participate by dropping speed boosts, mines, and sections of the track covered in mouse-trap glue. Make it hilarious and I’ll tune in.
