SHAVE THE DRIVERS!

I believe yes. Paints are made from pigments, and the more pigment to arrive at a particular color the heavier the paint is. Sheen also changes the weight. These are, of course, very marginal.

I do hate that it’s done so poorly so often. In NY we have fairly robust annual safety inspections, but it seems like the only thing they’ll fail a car for is the check engine light being on and tires being bald. Which is good and all, but it seems like checking the lights should be part of it, including not passing

I went and did it at a big concrete wall, since I am currently sans a garage/car hole. I ended up adjusting them a tiny bit down. I was surprised at how little light bleed there was, and the improvement is remarkable.

Bring on pre-season testing! I want to see everyone speculate wildly!

My 1988 Subaru GL had hill holder! It’s been around. And it was great while learning how to drive manual as a 16 year old.

No matter what I did, my 2015 Forester’s halogen headlights did not provide enough light for me to see the road when I was confronted with whatever seems to makes modern headlights much brighter. Whether its the color of the light, or the angle, or a misaligned headlight (this seems dubious) I simply couldn’t see well

Suddenly the purpose of all those voter ID laws would disappear. Their precious plans, ruined! BY PORN!

Looks more like it made it to almost 200k, needed a new engine, and the guy bought one with almost 100k on it?

Seriously. They all look 17.

That’s a great damn mustache Bottas is rocking.

Who is this information for? Certainly not prospective purchasers of a Maverick, given that they’re sold out for the foreseeable future. And I’m certainly not paying $5k or more over MSRP for a base-spec Maverick, which is what dealers seem to be fetching.

I assume the AC doesn’t work because the compressor is shot because this thing idled for 14 hours a day with the AC running. I know cop cars are built tough and have extra cooling and whatnot, but every cop car I see driven is floored at every possible opportunity. They are either idling or driving with the go-pedal

Absolutely agree. The vast majority of Integras were not sports cars.

I definitely agree.

Oh, definitely. Like I said, it was great at being a car. And sometimes that’s all you want. But, good or bad, I have much different memories of all my other cars. That car is by far the least memorable.

I drove a Type R once. It was uh, a different car than mine for sure. I see the appeal, and I guess everyone talks them into thinking “how different could it be??” But the regular ones are just.... not that special.

This is probably sacrilege. But, a 1991 Acura Integra sedan. With the automatic. I bought it because I was in a pinch and needed a car. It was great at being a car, mind you. But, it was truly boring with the automatic. Even with the “sportmatic” or whatever they called it where you could push a button to go from

My best car buying experience was with a Subaru dealer in northern NJ. They kept the keys to all their used cars in a little lock box on the back window. Walk in, tell them I’d like to test drive a Forester. Salesman takes a copy of my license, tells me the code to all of the cars, and says drive a few, come back if

Just use less salt. We learned just how well working from home worked for a huge percentage of the country during COVID. When it snows, if you can, stay home and work. If you can’t and your job isn’t an essential one, maybe take a day off. Who doesn’t love a snow day. And if you can’t, you have to learn how to drive
