Suspiciously nice price. I’m glad it’s really far away.

He’s got an estimated net worth of more than $70 million. He’ll be fine.

Mongolia was certainly the best of the recent stuff. It was also the one that felt the least scripted and the least ridiculous. It seemed rather genuine that they were out there suffering, cold, lost, confused, and unhappy without beer. Plus, Mongolia itself was just staggeringly beautiful.

Why anybody would jump on that offer is a mystery to me.” Is it though...? People are idiots, especially when making vehicle purchases.

Nah. I drove one of these. It was seriously unimpressive. I’m sure it’s fun offroad. But on it, it was slow, ungainly, the interior is god awful ugly, and it had appalling visibility/blind spot issues.

It’s remarkable that it’s worth it to Nissan to continue updating this car. The sales figures are pretty bleak... They didn’t even crack triple digits in 2022 (only sold 57 in the US). Back to 2018 when they sold 500. And all the way back to 2015 when they moved 1,000 a year.

I test drove one. Extremely comfortable. Roomy. Reasonably engaging. So much better than the bland crossovers my wife wants. Ugh. A Passport.

I’m buying one for my next car. Wife thinks I’m nuts, but I freaking love it.

First thought was ‘what mad lad made a Chrysler 300 into a convertible coupe??’ My god that’s hideous.

There’s a guy around me with an NA Miata in BRG with pop riveted flared fenders with bronze rivets and 15" bronze rims that match. It looks awesome. But, yeah, as a trend its pretty awful. And this is terrible.

It being Reddit, it’s hard to say for sure. But if you go to r/teslalounge you’ll absolutely hear stories of people experiencing phantom lane changes, phantom braking, and phantom braking with lane changes. Particularly at lane splits. And frankly, endless evidence that FSD is extremely dangerous and probably

I think Teslas are cool and I’m not trying to just jump on the anti-Tesla train. I think FSD is stupid and dangerous as its marketed, but is remarkable tech that I hope has a future.

Lol. Jumbo shrimp! Act natural! Crash landing!

The driver told police that he had been using Tesla’s new “Full Self-Driving,” and if interested, you can view the redacted accident report here:

Yeah, that is just ludicrous.

Is Chic-fil-A still closed on Sundays, even in a rest stop? Because if so, that’s a hugely stupid strategic blunder. The biggest travel days for NY rest stops are Friday and Sunday, and having one of the “anchor” food chains closed on one of those days is going to burden the other chains and lead to longer lines and

Before we road tripped through Italy we had some friends who said we just had to stop at the rest stops because they were so impressive. I couldn’t quite imagine what they meant, but, when given the opportunity we did. Holy cow what a ridiculous thing. Like you said, full-service deli, amazing made-to order food both

Breakeven point is a fantasy and I still do not understand why that’s what people even consider when thinking about buying an EV.

My favorite is the 2.5 or 2.75 tune, where they only did half the shit to make a stage 3 tune run safely and reliably. Classic.

More of this on Jalopnik!
