Actually, no. The PSP was more powerful than a PS1, but not as powerful as a Ps2 (close), as you can see in GoW: Chains of Olympus. The Vita is in the middle between the PS2 and the PS3, Uncharted: Golden Abyss and Wipeout look way much better than any PS2 game. I know, I have both.
