They had to limit Marvel because she is too strong. Just like they weakened Thor and Hulk to keep non-infinity gauntlet Thanos in the fight. The movie was 3 hours and lots still had to be rushed. There was the big GirlPower moment at the end, which was corny but people cheered in the theater. Just let it be.

My only complaint is that Thor’s power-scaling is always off. At the end of each Thor/Avengers film he reaches a new level but is then not as strong when the story picks back up.
