That was absolutely fantastic. And mind boggling. At least until 5:40, where we switch to hypothetical mode. Still, those filaments made of galaxies just stun me. The immensity is unfathomable.

Capt. Tracy was part of a great story line that was f*cked up by the whole US flag thing. Decker was only a bit insane (and also part of a great story line). Garth was just not believable, and the story sucked. Marcus was terrific (Peter Weller is great in everything he does).

I loved the movie, but...

Ahhh, VHS. I still have a shelf full in my office (a bottom shelf), and I don’t think I have a player anymore. Anyone remember what movies cost from Columbia House and places like that? I seem to recall prices in the $100 range...
