First, I will say that I was a huge fan of Star Trek TNG; I thought that the special effects were generally quite good, especially for 1980s television. And in terms of effects, it blew TOS out of the water. But as we all know, TNG had some low points. For me it was these completely unbelievable cheap plastic things…
