Great topic, Ria. There are so many to choose from. Most of these posted here already are among my faves. The DF and UDF are mind bogglers. I’ll add just a couple more: NGC6302 (the holy crap! exploding nebula) and the beautiful M57 ring nebula...

That has always been a eye-grabber.

A lot of things are remote in likelihood. Like dying in a plane crash, on re-entry, etc. Bad things happen.

The implication was that all females on TNG were soft and fluffy except for Pulaski. That was not correct.

Didn’t like her character at all. Mostly in the same way that I don’t like a lot of doctors that I have met. Sure some have good bedside manner in place of arrogance and distance, but that doesn’t seem that common anymore. Btw, if bedside manner isn’t important, then the EMH would be a much better doctor...

Well, that “entirely digital” stuff you refer to is actually on a spinning disc somewhere. Internet delivery is more convenient, but is it as robust? We’ll see, I guess.
