3 points for the awesome Leslie Nielsen reference.

3 points for 3 minutes of laughter...

You made it even better. 3 points.

You get the full 5 points for that!

i guess the view is great start to finish every day if youre into that

Well, you'd be surprised how poorly most people fit into a given stereotype. For example, I am a Christian, NEVER watch Fox News (except for the highlights on the Daily Show), and am for the most part pro-choice. Go figure.

like i said....*sigh*

Sorry, I thought I was in io9. Didn't realize I was in some goofy fantasy universe. Sorry. My bad.

Maybe if you're in your early 20's, and don't care much about hard core SF...

don't forget about the part where they say: once that baby's born, you're on your own...

Star Trek has a SLIGHT lead over Game of Thrones?!?
...oh, brother...

you're under arrest.

thats nice

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy...

Well, that's a great point, lets beef up that list with British, Spanish, French, German, Chinese, Persian, Greek, Roman, etc, etc explorer's names...

Well, at least because he's a champion of the sciences for the layman. He deserves a ton of credit for that.

The entire list of historical explorers is appropriate.
Less so, the other lists.
I mean, if we really want to be serious...

I thought that Rick said "I don't care" in the way that most cops would. When a criminal gives reasons (or someone else gives those reasons) for unlawful behaviour, the cop doesn't care. All the cop knows or is concerned about is the crime that he knows has taken place.

"...the [Walking Dead] finale will "piss you off."

I'm not crazy about the whole multi-verse idea. I think that a more likely scenario is that a "new universe" is created whenever 2 or more similar or dissimilar entities interact (particles, stars, galaxies, worms, humans, etc). In essence, every instant is a "new universe".
