I vote for robot bodies. That is, as long as we can suspend our real bodies indefinitely, for when we decide that we need them for a while.

The whole tech industry is now like this. With some significant exceptions, job insecurity is now the norm in tech. That's why I am a consultant- keeps me on my toes, and more importantly, keeps me totally aware that a contract can end at any time. Getting a "full time" tech job might be great, but if you think that

I miss those days when you pulled one of those new USB sticks out, or ejected a floppy disk with 98's Windows Explorer open, and my system would freeze for 5 minutes. Those were the days...

But there were a lot of people very interested in this "new, more stable XP" version of Windows. Windows 98 was friggin' dog, and a whole lot of people knew it...

You get the full 5 points for that...

I think we called it "the poor man's Camaro"...

Facebook is far from dead. It's just boring to the early adopters who used it and moved on. There are over a billion users. They share stupid stuff about their lives. Many use it more than they use email. Get that number? Over a billion. Boring? Maybe. Useless to the early adopters? Maybe, for some. Dead? Far from

Well, how about those Flyers?
Up 4-0, and maybe right back in the series...

It's always okay to root against the Pats!

I get that. But hear me out. My fave teams in several sports rarely make the playoffs. I need to cheer a bit for other teams; I can't just shut 'er down for the playoffs every stinkin' year. Also, I wasn't born in the city I live in. So I have a fave team, but living in the same town for many years, you start to like

I'm in Canada, so I'm a Jays fan. But I'm 50, so I'm still pissed at Jeffery Loria for deliberately killing my beloved Montreal Expos. Also follow the RedSox (I knew you wouldn't like that), and the Cubbies. Mostly I'm a baseball fan, so I do like most of the storied franchises (Yanks, Tigers, Dodgers, etc.).

'Nobody' as in you and anyone you know, yes?

I expected someone from NY would have something to say about that. You didn't disappoint me.

Your lessons learned from WW2 are curious. Yes, we were able to out-produce the Germans with Shermans vs Panzers, but at the start of the war, we were told that we had the best tank. Quickly learned that we did not. Right now, with the M1, we do have the best tank. However, the M1 is getting old, and maybe we can

Snap!

There were these guys:

Where are the limits? Is there a limit on the quality of metal that can be printed? For example, could one print a Samurai sword, and have any hope of obtaining the same quality of the steel?

This is very interesting, but as they say, the minors are filled with excellent fielders. Show us that you can hit and get on base, then we'll look at your fielding.

We should stop buying their stuff, I guess.

Yeah. And they'll do that once we stop ordering tons of cheap stuff from them. Ready? Stop!
