Pretty well sums it up
A very special little car indeed, but please make sure you change the seat belt anchor points the moment you got it.
Accidentally grabbing reverse when taking off from a stoplight. In the mini there is no lockout for reverse, and being a 6 speed reverse is located closest to you and forward....a lot like first. Now if you're not in a rush and pull gently toward you and push forward you get first since there is something of a notch…
In this case, boring is an improvement since they work with the overall design of the car much better. The "spider eye" headlights honestly distract from the clean flowing lines of the car by introducing a needlessly busy element to an otherwise very fluid design.
As an animator I absolutely adore the opening for Seki Kun, and the fact that is goes through the entire animation process.
Isosceles FTW! It's far more stable than that silly show boat style called the Weaver stance! :P
There are several that have the options safe, semi, and burst. But I do get, and agree with what you're saying.
It looks like the result of a sake fueled tryst between an STI hatch and a Civic....I'm honestly not sure how to feel about this.
I just bought my first Miata, an early 2nd gen, and though the car needs a good bit of work, I can easily see why people love these little things. Even in the somewhat rough shape mine is in, it communicates well, and just seems like a happy little car, one that wants to be driven hard, and once I finish refreshing…
Oh hell yes! I've thought pretty much since I first read these books that they would make for an awesome series.
And the ones that can print metal are hellaciously expensive still, so unless you want those bits made from ABS plastic, we still aren't quite where this can be done in a way that would make sense from a business standpoint. We're getting there, and you're absolutely right that those are the bits that will likely kick…
True, but a car consists of more parts than just stressed mechanicals. Eventually we'll get to those, to be certain. However where I see these things coming into use at first is in recreating hard to find trim and body bits for older and rare cars, as well as aero bits for more current tuner cars.
There absolutely is! The problem is that the 3d printers that are affordable, only print in ABS plastic, or a ceramic powder and resin. There are ones that can print in metals evidently (additive methods, not subtractive like a CNC machine, THOSE have been around for quite a while now), but they are VERY expensive.…
Ah, understandable then, though that seriously sucks.
Lol, nice!
I like it a lot, but I'd like it even better if they changed a couple of things; larger gas tank (the itty bitty thing they put in is kinda pathetic), and a space saver spare (it'd be nice if the floor was completely flat when the seats are laid down instead of the lip that is there due to the full size spare). But…
Understandable then! :D
Not a problem do keep in mind, that I have somethign of a heavy foot and this has a definite effect on mileage, highway I usually see around 30 mpg provided I'm not mired in stop and go traffic. Still not amazing, and the tank IS small, but it's liveable, you just have to fill up more often.
Pretty decent, no rattles or anything yet, but it's still under 3k miles on the clock. There could be less black plastic for my taste, but it's a Ford, not a BMW, and somethign they consider an entry level model at that. The seats are very comfy (provided you fit in them), and become even more so over time as they…
