I love my Mini, I'm just not sure how easy it would be to get a kids seat in and out of the back...or how my back would take the required contortions (god, am I really starting to take this into consideration when looking at cars?). I know folks have made it work, I'm just thinking the larger trunk and rear doors

Easy to do, because they look best in blue

It's a very good car, and more practical than my current MINI Cooper S. Not buying anything for a couple years though....unless next years honeymoon results in needing backseat space sooner than expected. This will also mean that the used market for the ST should be fairly large too.

That it most definitely has indeed.

We've heard it'll be sedan-only this time, and a hi-po STI version is still to come.

CP, it would definitely be a lot of fun both to drive and tinker with, but for the state it's in currently I'd say the asking price is about 10k too high. Price it in the 7,500 range and it'd be much closer to correctly priced, but for almost $18k I'd want it immaculate and looking like it rolled out of the showroom

Lol @ spraypainting Goodyear on a set of Pirelli tires. Seriously though, how hard would it have been to just get the Goodyears in the first place?

I am now sobbing from laughter and my co workers are giving me funny looks.....thanks Jalopnik.

Interesting, I may have to check out the U of H one.

I've Listened to Wait Wait Don't Tell Me before, but the rest are news to me. I'll take your word on the others, it just seems like every time I hear about NPR, it's in conjunction with something really inane from someone attempting to be profound. Now, I'm sure that it's a case of squeaky wheel syndrome in that you

Fair enough, I only ever really listened to car talk and Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me. So, I really had no idea, and pretty much any time NPR is refrenced,,it's crap, like this.

Does NPR actually have anything worth listening to now that Car Talk is gone?

Eh, it's all good, no one ever thinks about the children anyways.

Wait....there are people that don't like tacos? Is that even humanly possible? ....Other than the French I mean, but they don't count. I mean they eat invertebrates out of their gardens and try to pass it off as a delicacy!

Soul Red from Mazda. I'm usually more of a fan of blues and British racing green, but this is absolutely stunning!

My problem isn't with the powerplant, it's the 25k pricetag for a street car with no A/C. This may work in CA where nice weather is the rule rather than the exception, but here in Houston you would not be able to drive it from May through about the middle of November because it's too damn hot. It'd be a damn fun car

Agreed, it fixes the only problem I ever had with with the car.

If your car doesn't have it, worst case scenario is that you forget to turn them on and get a ticket, or make people angry on your way. You will realize it at some point. If your car does have it, the shadow of a building or a short underpass can trigger your lights, which will drive you mad.

If it's a motorcycle, Saab Sonett, or an old Lancia they could actually be correct! For modern applications they are only found in motorcycles though.

Yes, but it has enough torque to maintain those acceleration figures while towing the Statue of Liberty because 'Merica.
