“Conversative mad after they find out Lizzo still exist” should really be the headline.

Lets look at it this way: They’re mad at *Lizzo* for having the audacity to play the flute, and they are *not* mad at the Library of Congress, who is the steward of the instrument, who loaned it to her to play at her concert.

They degrade our history and then call you racist if you actually value it.”

If we learned anything from Alex Jones’s testimony in various lawsuits, these types of “Conservative Thought Leaders” don’t believe their own line of BS. The clicks and mentions only line their pockets through the monetization of our outrage.

I worry a little about the possibilities when evil is left unattended, but your point is spot on! I really wish we’d quit talking as if what “conservatives” say is an accurate depiction of what they believe, and it’s worse, as with the article you mention, when what they don’t say should make their beliefs quite clear

So I just came off a site that showed postcards of (Black) lynchings that used to be passed around and mailed to folks as both tokens and souvenirs for more than Fifty years of production. Usually inscribed with racist text or poems (!) and depicting smiling spectators including children..!  So a black woman playing a

We need to stop drawing attention to Shapiro/Walsh and the rest of these idiots. They live for the engagement, the opportunity for their faux outrage to become people’s actual outrage.

She didn’t grind on the Liberty Bell, she blew into a flute you had no idea existed until five minutes ago that has zero actual significance to American history.

Eat shit.

The people who act like things like this degrade the “founding fathers” would like a picture of a svelte blonde wearing their portraits as body paint so fast, their phone would fall out of their sweaty little hands.

Don’t forget the rape!

Okay but she didn’t put it up her butt right, because that’s what the Republicans are acting like.

the, sort of, gentility of America’s founders

It’s the vulgarization of American history

The flute has been the property of the Library of Congress since... 1941. So for all of you deeply rooted in heritage and history, that’s over 100 years AFTER James Madison died. It’s not like Lizzo dug him up and pried it from his withered slave owner hands.

“The vulgarization of American history”. Oh, our history is plenty vulgar, Shapiro and his compatriots just choose to ignore everything that doesn’t fit their narrative or outright invent things that do. Lizzo twerking with James Madison’s flute is much more wholesome than many, many episodes over the last 250 years.

So when liberals complain about something being racist or sexist or fat phobic they are labelled snowflakes who need a safe space, but Conservative whites get their panties in a bundle over a black woman playing a flute they didn’t even know existed.

No, owning 200 slaves is “vulgar” my dood.

“...if there was a power imbalance”

Seems weird that your biggest concern is getting the opportunity to drag the woman’s name too. I’m presuming the Celtics are trying to protect her identity to keep their idiot fans from harassing her.

Just shaking my damn head...Udoka should have known better! Hasn’t he been paying attention, especially given our #MeToo climate? And being engaged to a legit Black Queen like Nia Long? Come on, man!
