I don’t quite get the general hate towards the entire Neogaf community after this news. I’ve been a lurker of the site for years and a member for some months, some of the best discussions I’ve ever seen about gaming were on that site, it had some really intelligent and interesting members.

It’s sad to see forums go down the drainpipe, either through shutdowns like with the Insomniac Games forums, or through scandals such as this. IMO they’re far superior to other methods like Discord, Reddit or Twitter.

Please, It’s no secret many of these ‘allies’ are just looking for a way to get in our pants.

I felt similarly about the first Sonic game. Hold right until you run into a set of spikes. Grab one of your rings back. Repeat. In hindsight, I really shouldn’t have been surprised when most of the SegaCD games turned out to be cutscenes peppered with quick time events.
