Well, okay, maybe she's more practical about killing people—that's a good thing. Still, these archery trick shots by Stephen Izzi and friends are a joy to watch.

OK. I got you an answer, one I think you'll like. You'll be able to access the U.S. site via us.kotaku.com. Kotaku U.K. will also tag their original pieces, so all Kotaku readers will be able to bookmark that tag page and read those stories in conjunction with our U.S.-based Kotaku.com if they'd like.

Stephen, I have a question. In the press briefing the way traffic is mentioned makes it sound like I am going to be geo re-directed to Kotaku UK. Will I still be able to access this site by conventional means or will I have to engage in various tricks to get access to it?

That would actually have been useful a little over 14 years ago!

It would be hilarious if they got Ellen Page to play Ellie. Interested to see if this gains any traction and they actually make it.

I bet you pat your own back when you posted this. You implied the same stupid thing about the Arkham games. Are you just doing it for the shock value?

But she nailed the banter between characters, which really makes that series what it is... a better Indy than the last Indy.

ok.. so let's just say, for arguments sake, that gameplay SHOULD be subordinate to writing (in a farking video game!)..

..and let's just say that you know more about AAA game development than ND.. cuz that's probably true.. and that your potentially flawed assumption that the writing must come first in order to result

X box fan boy y is it buring in ur arse?

"so the story sucks, but the dialog is good"

She was the creative director and lead writer. Can't see how she wrote the dialogue without writing the story. (If you don't like people picking apart your words semantically then don't do it yourself).

You didn't like the set pieces, but maybe she did. Maybe she even

Your opinion isn't fact.

But that is generally how video game writing goes. The game comes first, story is tailored to the game play. It's pretty much like that for most games, minus a few exceptions.

BREAKING NEWS: MULTIPLE AWARD WINNING, BEST-SELLING GAME UNPOPULAR AMONG GAMING COMMUNITY "CRITICS"

how bout having a writer write a fucking book instead of a video game. you have no idea what your are talking about, go back to waiting on Titanfall....or is it Half Life 3.

Uncharted and TLOU had bad stories? Okay Mr. Minority.

Are you serious? You couldnt be more wrong. You sound like someone who hasnt even played them.

Fuck off.

This seems so odd. I'm really curious about what the actual reasons are here.

Yep. It's a shame, a real shame.

It saddens me that there is such a rift between South Korea and Japan, when they have so much more in common with one another culturally than many of their other neighbours. There seems to be a pattern of patriotic insularity in Eastern Asia that is fairly upsetting.
